Natal, capital of the State of Rio Grande do Norte, has extraordinary beaches
with tiny fishing villages. The most sought-after beaches are Genipabu and
Cotovelo. There also freshwater beaches along the Potengi River and its falls.
The Reis Magos Fort has on one side strong waves crash against the rock on
which the fort is built. On the other side, the beach and reefs form a gigantic,
natural aquarium. It is definitely worth a visit.
